BigMove wants to grow with project company

Harmstorf – January 30, 2019 – BigMove AG plans to strengthen its network and group sales with BigMove Projekt GmbH, founded at the beginning of the year under the umbrella of BigMove AG. The new firm is to play a key role within the holding company as a project forwarder.

As an interface it has access to all human and technical resources of BigMove AG and its partners. The objective of the newly created firm is to market, coordinate, and process, in particular, complex transport and assembly services in the field of heavy-duty logistics for the whole group.

At its 17 sites across Europe and 12 inland ports for the loading and discharging as well as storing of heavy goods, BigMove Projekt GmbH will thus ensure not only close proximity to its customers and an extensive range of services, but also top-quality execution of orders.

“The new project freight forwarding company under the umbrella of BigMove AG provides our customers with access to the complete range of services and the know-how of our entire network,” says Olaf Beckedorf. “Thanks to this new platform, our partner companies will be better connected and able to use synergies more effectively,” the CEO of BigMove AG continues.

By founding the project company, BigMove AG wants to further expand its market position in Europe, the focus being on structural changes and digitalization.
