Transport of four large containers to Saarbrücken
In December 2024, W. Mayer GmbH & Co. KG transported a total of four containers from Saarbrücken-Dudweiler to Bürgerpark in Saarbrücken. Four of the company’s vehicles were used for this transport. The containers were handled by the company Riga.

Container 2
The vehicle combination consists of a 4-axle tractor unit (ZM) and a 3-axle low bed. The dimensions of the container were as follows: A length of 22.60 m, a width of 4.35 m and a height of 5.73 m. The total weight was 57.06 tons.
Container 3
The vehicle combination for this container consisted of a 4-axle tractor unit (ZM) and a 10-axle Scheuerle modular combination. The dimensions of the container were: Length 26.10 m, width 5.38 m and height 7.21 m. The total weight is 123.00 tons.
Container 4
A vehicle combination consisting of a 4-axle tractor vehicle (ZM) and two 6-axle Goldhofer module combinations was used for this container. The container also included a flatbed installation.
The dimensions of the container were: 41.00 m long, 5.30 m wide and 6.82 m high. Total weight: 170.60 tons.
The containers were transported by barge from Saarbrücken to Rotterdam.
